Nissan Going To (Death)?
Nissan, Carmaker for the best car such a Nissan GT-R, 370Z, X-Trail, Kicks and many more have gone to the end of the road.
They have faced a problem after Carlos Ghosn arrested because of fraud and mismatch money on the Nissan-Renault Alliances. Also, Alliance between Nissan with Renault and Mitsubishi make carmaker based in Yokohama; Japan must restructure again until they decide to cut employee more than 12000 jobs globally.
It is hurtful when Nissan must face a problem who not predicted before. That,s right because Nissan has sub-brand such an Infiniti and Datsun, but two sub-brand has not brought Nissan to get a helpful sales.
Example Datsun, This sub-brand targeted for low market or first buyer market who held buy a first car or limited money. Perhaps selling was excellent, Datsun declined after the first debut four years ago. Also, Infiniti has not good sales the same as Datsun.
Then, the profit of Nissan plunges into 98.5 per cent according to ABC News (25 July 2019). It is a problem for Nissan who held as carmaker for the best car ever in the world. And then, they decide to stop production of 22 models of car with sub-brand such a Datsun and Infiniti. It is a problem when you know profit plunges until 98.5 per cent and cutting job with cease production of 22 models car will save Nissan in the future.
Or it is a strategy for diversification of Nissan from Combustion engine into an electric vehicle. We know Nissan investment in Melbourne, Australia build R&D and also Technical Training Centre for Electric Vehicle in Dandenong, Victoria.
Also, Nissan has change manufacture plant in Karawang, Indonesia as Engine Manufacture for Mitsubishi Xpander and Nissan Livina. Because Nissan Livina now produces with Mitsubishi Xpander in Mitsubishi Plant in Deltamas, Cikarang, West Java.
That is why Nissan restructures management and create a sustainable company for the Alliance between Mitsubishi and Renault. Beside Renault wanted to enter Southeast Asia Market with the entire product, also a new product which different in other Southeast Asia. Such a Low MPV based Xpander.
Ok, it is last time we hear Nissan got glorious in the rivalry in Automotive Industry.
And the company and we need to hear more product from Nissan because Nissan is a company with a great car and best in motorsport ever.
Maybe it is time to know where Nissan is going after hard work getaway from bankruptcy and of course on track in the Automotive sector. We need Nissan to complete competition between Toyota and Honda.
